I have lost count of the Websites I have analysed which while looking great have few or none of the critical underlying elements that the Search Engines crave if your Website is to be “indexed” or listed with them so they show up when someone searches for you.

Ease of navigation and relevant content are mandatory both for Visitors and Search Engines alike. There are many factors to be taken into consideration when creating a Website, but if these two things are done right you’ll immediately have an enormous advantage over those of your competitors who have not and have sacrificed Utility on the Altar of Appearance by having fancy Flash animations with “skip intro” (what’s the point of that if everyone skips it?) and other pointless gimmicks.

 

For these reasons many Business Websites have languished into obscurity - most have never risen above it - and Business owners continue to have to resort to the usual old-fashioned methods of cold calling, buying E-mail lists, subscribing to directories and so on. So what was the point in having a Website?

The old-fashioned approach is just that: old-fashioned. It’s no longer needed and here’s why - your Website had a purpose and it can fulfil the purpose it was originally intended for, which is to get visitors and convert them to paying customers. It just needs visibility, and that’s why we’re here, because that’s what we do…

The statistics are incredible: 200 million people search every day on the Internet for information about products and services, yours among them. They do this for three reasons:

  • Research – they know they don’t know what they need to know about:
  • Products and Services – they know what they need to know and are ready to choose:
  • Suppliers – they want to know Where to Get It and they Want to Buy: Right NOW or as quickly and easily as possible (people are lazy after all)

The Internet has been described as an immediate, felt-needs gratification environment, and it truly is. You can be involved and profit from it, and since you invested in your Website to begin with, that is of interest to you. Now you just need to know how and see results.
